House Player Registration

Important House Player registration information

You may or may not have heard, but we are switching to a new web platform (Ramp) for our Registration.

There is some really important information that you need to be aware of. Please read below.

There is an increase in registration fees this year. Softball BC has also implemented an increase in their annual fees.

Every player registration will have two separate transactions.

  • The first transaction will be paid directly to Softball BC for annual fees.
  • The second transaction will be paid to RMMSA for registration/rep/field user fees.

The annual fees for Softball BC are not new, but in prior years RMMSA collected and submitted payment to Softball BC for the annual fees. Please remember to complete both parts of the registration.

Because Ramp is a new web platform for RMMSA, many of us will need to create an account with Ramp.

  • When creating a new account, please put your child's proper first name in the “First name” box.
  • Do not add things like #’s in this box please.
  • Then, in the “nickname” box you can put the names they go by.
  • If your child is not new to ball but it is trying to charge you the $10 for a sbc # (different than the sbc annual fees), it could be because of how you put their name in.

For example, if you previously registered with a shortened form of their full name and now trying with their full name.

If you have questions contact Kate before proceeding. rmmsaregistrar@gmail.com

With the old registration set up, if someone requested to pay in two payments, it was set so that the second payment would come out one month from the day you registered.

With the new system, you can still pay the fees in two payments, BUT it will NOT be set for one month after the registration date as we have to have a set date for the second payment to come out. The set date for the second payment will be February 7, 2026. This means that anyone who registers before January 1 will have over a month before the second payment comes out, but anyone registering during January will still have the second payment come out on February 7.

Note that the Softball BC portion will still be charged on the day you register. If you need to register through kidsport/jump start/A4K, it will require a kidsport/jump start ID. I believe you need to apply to kidsport first, then they give you an ID, then you register on Ramp and will need that ID#.

Please contact Kate rmmsaregistrar@gmail.com if you are using one of these organizations as I will need to give you a code and we also keep a record of all them.

The link below will take you to the Ramp website.  Every registration is in two parts.  Once you are finished with the Softball BC part, you must continue to the RMMSA part.
