Hello RMMSA family,

As we are in the first week of March I was hoping we would have more news to share regarding what the season will look like for us. We really appreciate everyone’s patience in waiting for news. What I can tell you is we will be putting together teams and assigning practice times by the end of March. All teams are able to practice while we are still in inning one. I would encourage all of you to take a look at the return to play guidelines that are posted on our website. This may help you to understand the process we will need to follow before games can get underway. Our house managers will be very busy this month with setting teams and organizing equipment and uniforms.

We have opened up another month of clinics for everyone and registration will be online and begin this Friday March 5th. Clinics are open for any RMMSA registered player.

We are super excited that we will be introducing the Tim Bits softball program for our U6 and U8 divisions for this upcoming season. The manual for the coaches is fantastic and it will help all coaches, even ones not experienced in softball or baseball. Sally Smith and Katie Ross will be developing some videos to help with understanding some of the drills for all coaches. We will be implementing a mandatory coaches meeting for these teams so we can get this program off to an amazing start. Development of our younger athletes is essential for us to keep growing the sport. Having fun is the key for all!!

Our REP athletes have been so resilient and have never worked harder training to prepare for whatever 2021 has to offer. Keep up the great work players and coaches.

If anyone sees a player struggling in these times please reach out to our amazing player liaisons Corrina and Sonia . These ladies are amazing and always have the girls best interest first.

I am hoping to have an update sooner rather than later. Hopefully we will hear the words Let’s Play Ball soon.
