Pride 2009 A – U13A Provincials

This past weekend the Ridge Meadows Pride 2009 A team played their U13A Provincials at Softball City.  The girls finished the Round Robin portion of the tournament 4-0 and the second seed after beating Tri-City Titans 09, Fraser Valley Fusion 2010, Abbotsford Outlaws 2009, and White Rock Renegades 2009.

The team made the Winner Bracket Final in the double elimination tournament and lost to the Fraser Valley Fusion 2009 – NL in a 6-5 nail biter where the girls rallied for 4 runs in the top of the seventh.  As this players have done all year they kept fighting and knocked off the Renegades 2009 6-2 to get a second chance.

In a final game that saw both teams battle for the full seven innings with amazing performances on both sides the Pride lost 6-5 in the bottom of the seventh to finish with the Silver Medal.
