Misc. Field Tag Notes  

The two Blue Tags closest to the first baseline are the 3' Base Path

The Coaches boxes begin at the base for the appropriate age group and extend towards

home plate 15' ending at the appropriate tag colour for the age group

Locating Base Posts

All tagged fields have base posts in the ground (3rd base example pictured below). The following information will help locate the base posts in relation to the appropriate field tag

Please note that the post depth varies from 1" to 4" due to changing field conditions

Always ensure to replace the Base Post plugs when you cleanup after your practice or game

First Base
At appropriate Tag color the base posts are approximately 8" towards Home plate and approximately 8" either side of the base line

Second Base
At appropriate Tag color the base post is approximately 11" towards Home plate

Third Base
At appropriate Tag color the base post is approximately 8" towards Home plate and approximately 8" inside the base line
